The Tohnichi torque wrench is classified into two categories; click type and indicating type. Click type is mainly used for a tightening work in which “click” notices reach of set torque value. Indicating type is mainly used for a measurement or inspection work in which a measured value expresses numerically.

torque screwdriver
There are two types of torque screwdrivers: signal-type and direct reading models. Click type torque screwdrivers are used primarily for tightening. When the set torque is achieved, rotary slip prevents over-torque, and the hand feels a release of tension, indicating tightened-to-completion. Direct reading torque screwdrivers are used primarily for measuring and inspection. They display numerical measurement values. We also supply Pokayoke (error-proof) torque screwdrivers designed to prevent human tightening errors.

Tohnichi’s lineup of click type torque wrenches includes adjustable types with torque scale, prelock types that have a torque scale but also help prevent human error by making it difficult to change torque value, preset types without a torque scale that are designed for repeated tightening at the same torque, Pokayoke (error-proofing) torque wrenches that help prevent missed tightening, angle wrenches for rotation angle tightening, and types that, in addition to their click function, transmit tightening torque data wirelessly.
Direct reading torque wrench
Tohnichi offers an excellent lineup of direct reading torque wrenches, including digital, dial and beam types. Our lineup of direct reading torque wrenches includes many interchangeable head types. Our selection of interchangeable heads, the best in the world, is designed to promote excellent work conditions. Some of our direct reading torque wrenches include wireless transmission functions.
